It was in her later college years she started a weekly Yoga practice in between all the sitting required for editing and animating cartoons. She almost gave up when she finally came across The College of Purna Yoga. She was supported to transform and connect to the importance of life again. Through her transformation she felt a deep passion to share the knowledge that helped her wake up from a numb, and armored state of living, to a life rich in beautiful feelings and meaning. She enjoys to teach teacher training's and witness others progressing in their bodies and connecting deeply to their hearts through a beautiful lifestyle. To keep her passions Alive on a weekly basis she joins many continual education classes at the College of Purna Yoga each week. Background and current passions: Nine years ago I was blessed to find Jillian and Purna Yoga. This was a perfect finding to launch my new life having just retired from 40 years of teaching in the public school system. Purna Yoga offered knowledge, support and guidance to create and keep my body, mind and spirit healthy and whole. Beginning as an avid gardener I was continually challenged with back and shoulder pain. That is now a thing of the past. I still love to garden, hike, travel, explore sacred geometry, and spend time with friends. I enjoy sharing all I have learned: the joy of creating a healthy, happy life at any age.
